IMPACT

Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) works to connect people living with a disability to informal and natural supports that are already available in the community, provide assistance with the planning process, and ensuring plans are implemented effectively. LCHS also work with the community and service providers to build inclusion and awareness of the needs of people with disability.

OVERVIEW

THINK collaborated with LCHS with research insights informing an industry white paper to identify common activities that people with a disability participate in within the community, understanding the experience across sectors when conducting these day-to-day activities in terms of offering an accessible and inclusive experience and identified what activities would people with a disability like to participate in if given the opportunity.
