Cbus Property’s sustainability program has been integrated systematically into the way they manage their assets, using  a portfolio-wide approach to set standards and targets, and rely on experienced on-site management teams to implement a sustainability program that achieves the highest sustainability standards.

OVERVIEW

THINK worked with CBUS Property to test key areas in sustainable property developments such as building performance; building materials; waste management; water; and health, wellbeing and community, to determine what initiatives would have the greatest influence on the market.

THINK also explored the markets understanding and acceptance of sustainability rating tools (NatHERS, NABERS, Green Star, BASIX, The WELL Building Standard) and what factors add credibility and value to the housing consideration process.  This was then geo-mapped based on postcode, age, income and budget consideration to understand the viability for future developments.

Ultimately, THINK’s multi-phased approach allow us to deliver a tailored approach for CBUS Property developments and how to communicate the benefits of sustainable living that aligned to the market’s goals.
